The church of St James The Great sits in a peaceful churchyard at the heart of the Westerleigh village. It lies beside the village green to the north and overlooks the village sports field to the south.

The congregation offers you a warm welcome. The church is open every day from May to September from 10am to 4pm, and usually longer. You are welcome to look around the lovely church. We welcome use of the building by local groups - contact one of the churchwardens

Come join us for our regular sunday service, or else join us in the churches' calendar of festive celebrations, like Mothering Sunday, Harvest Festival, Christmas and Easter.

We invite you too to share in lively social events enjoyed by church and village.

Come here to be quiet and reflective, or to find out more about the history of the village and admire the mixed architecture of this great building founded in the 13th century.
